Yoga at Ground Control draws from multiple styles and traditions — especially Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yoga for BJJ — to specifically meet the needs of martial arts students. What makes this class unique from other yoga practices is the emphasis on poses and flows that benefit athletes, especially martial artists. The yoga classes build stability, mobility, and strength to help increase martial arts performance, prevent injury, and enhance recovery. Yoga also helps students practice mental resilience needed to sustain effective training and longevity in martial arts and the rest of life. You’ll be sweating at the end of class, but you will feel refreshed.
Our classes are run by experienced coaches with years of instruction and competition experience. Sparring is optional and our classes are geared towards all fitness and experience levels.
We Provide a Fun, Safe and Friendly Environment for All Fitness and Experience Levels. Our Yoga lessons are tough and thorough. You will be training with the best. Our gym is open to anyone who wishes to join. Be forewarned; the training you will receive is for fitness. Whether you wish to just do this for fitness or you wish to become a professional.
